Voice calls are an optional service for members requesting a direct notification of a location request by a phone call from the UDig NY contact center. This optional service is available to all members and is a chargeable service for all member types.
Voice calls, which are mainly used to dispatch emergency locations, are intended to deliver the information of a location request in an efficient and effective phone call. The expectation is for the call to last no more than five minutes, with no more than three attempts to reach the member.
