Andy joined the UDIG NY team in 2015 as part of the Promotion and Education department. Andy is currently responsible for UDIG NY outreach and excavation safety training in the western region of New York State, encompassing eight counties. His primary responsibility, and the goal of UDIG NY, is to prevent damage to underground utilities by promoting safe digging practices through educational efforts, and public outreach. In addition to on-site training, Andy also facilitates the WNY Damage Prevention Council, a grassroots effort which meets to discuss awareness and increase participation in safe digging in the region.
