Jason Marsh has been in the public utilities damage prevention industry for nearly a decade. Jason is an Air Force Veteran and a damage prevention subject matter expert with a bachelor’s degree in operations management. His current position at AVANGRID has afforded him the opportunity to bring his career in public utilities full circle. Utilizing his experience in damage prevention across the State of New York; Jason directs the damage prevention program for New York State Electric & Gas (NYSEG) and Rochester Gas & Electric (RG&E) which encompasses supervising the contract damage prevention driver program and the contract underground locating program, which covers 19,000 miles of distribution gas and 125 miles of transmission gas. Jason’s focus is on training, and awareness to prevent damages and help protect the underground infrastructure and the communities we work and live in.
