Presented by Anna Caron NYSEG RGE Damage Prevention Supervisor

Anna began her career at Avangrid with Central Maine Power as a meter reader in 2006.  Her next job in the company, an electric line clerk, was her first exposure to the 811 process and requesting locates. She has since held many positions at Avangrid while earning her MBA with a concentration in Project Management from Southern New Hampshire University in 2012.  In 2017, she became the Supervisor of Damage Prevention in Gas Operations where she has led a growing Damage Prevention team who inspect active construction sites for safety, as well as educate homeowners and excavators on the 811 process and safe digging best practices.  Anna has served on various committees who focus on Damage Prevention to share ideas and collaborate on new ways to reduce excavation damages. Recently, she was part of a team through the Northeast Gas Association who published a Tactical Guide on Damage Prevention. Anna continues to promote 811 and safe excavation personally and professionally.
